I am looking for some one that really knows how to buff. Trying to find out what the going rate per vehicle is for a complete sand and buff. I hate doing it myself. and it kills my productivity. Are they any people out there that can shed some light on the price I am looking at to buff a car completely to a PERFECT shine with absolutely no burn through. And I do all restoration work and custom paint....I am going to be really picky. So keep that in mind.

It's a very time consuming and teediest job to sand and buff anything the right way.I've been doing it for along time and am very good at it,on a typical full sand and buff I charge at a minimum $500 depending on size plus the cost of 3M sand paper(that stuff ain't cheap)Alot of people I've quoted jobs for at first think I'm out of my mind till they see the work time and skill that goes in to a job like that then they appeciate it.I don't do alot of side work for two reasons though, one, alot of people don't want to pay for it and two,I work 6 days a week so it's hard to find the time that is needed. At work I cut and buff 30-50ft 300k-million dollar+ RV's for customers, factory screw up's,coaches that were not cut after they were painted.I also do alot of work for our body shop, they send alot of there work over to me for finishing.

I wanted to reply to your post for a helper awhile back really bad,I've seen the work that you do and it is amazing. My wife even told me to go for it,but like a responsible husband and father I decided that in this economy it's hard to make changes and still put food on the table.I've actually wanted to get into a shop to learn to paint for a while, but finding someone to take a chance, teach me and still make a decent amount of money was a not going to happen.
Then tonight I seen this thread and I had to post. This is what I do,all day,6 days a week, and I'm very good at it.Are you looking for someone just to do stuff as you finish it or someone to higher full time?No offence, but are you busy enough for someone full time?I have a referance list a mile long, and have no problem with showing you what I can do with sand paper and a wheel. If you would like to talk give me a call 813-476-2785 or PM me your # and a time to call.Oh shit,I guess I should of PM'ed this, sorry.

Thanks,Bryan

right now just looking for some one to do it job by job. But I am getting busier by the week. I have a 69 mach 1 that I have painted and needs to be buffed. I am going to be finishing another all over custom paint job on a fox body mustang coupe this week that is going to need to be buffed.

Basically I have at least one BIG job a week that needs buffing. And I am just putting a feeler out there to see what I am looking at. I know what price range I would be looking at as I usually do all my own buffing but I hate doing so. Its a long process to get my desired finish. And mainly it keeps me out of the booth. So I am just looking at other options.

Give me a call at 813.766.6665

I wish I was going to be around longer because I would love to grab some side work. Ive been detailing for 7-8 years and have worked for a couple mercedes dealerships and plenty of others while I worked for an out house company. I have great wetsanding experence but I dont have any tools any more.
Im hoping to leave for the Army in a few weeks.. but if for some reason they DQ me at MEPS ill let you know ;)
