so Steve c. and i were thinking about starting a oldsmar meet on sunday nights.we are thinking of trying "oldsmar walmart super center"...we could meet on the side of the lot next to tampa rd because its always empty there at night.starting some where around 9:00pm this Sunday the 20th we will start the first meet!..then head out to other locations later that night for "vtec racing":lol: maybe some Patterson runs being that its just bout 5min up the road...there is also a applebees right up the road that would be a great place to eat/drink after words some nights.....any body and any kinds of cars are more then welcome!!!!

yes, the scion, it handles in corners, i used to autocross it before the body kit and rims, now i take it a lot slower because i cant corner as fast, due to height and not wanting to rip my bumper off.

Patterson is like 4.5 miles long and there is a good amount of turns. 1 or 2 straights where you can easily get up to 120mph too.

Kinda makes me happy to meet a somewhat decent stang owner. i hate cobra's though, always will. all the same shit. "pullied, bolt ons, gears, exhaust" blah blah blah. only the spray ones can compete. I've met ONE other cool mustang driver, lol, some old guy in a clean GT. at least you realize your car isn't "that fast", most stang drivers tend to forget that and the fact that there car weighs 2 tons.

well, it really isnt a sports car, like a vett, its got a back seat...ok well mine had a back seat. I got my car weighed in NC before i moved down here. with no spare and 1/4 tank it was 3400lbs on the scales on the marine base i was at. I have the traps for a car in the 12s but my 60 foots suck. IF i ditched the 20s and got some 18s i could run 12s but i LOVE my rims and i dont see me ever getting 18s....maybe 19s....but i doubt it. I'll admit i paid for the saleen name but oh well. Hondas car be fast but they are everywhere, when have you seen a mustang like mine? And its cool if you dont like my car, but i love it. Also, i like turning much more then 1/4 mile, and you dont need to run 11s to have lots of fun on a road course....or NC back roads, god i miss that...

Not even so much as that. Just like the personality of the car and the way it's styled and the essence of it. That's why we like the cars we drive (those of us fortunate enough to get the cars we truly want.)

People question me all the time why I got my car. "looks almost exactly like another mazda6" yeah, it has the same basic design, a few things changed, but the whole personality of the car is much different of that than the i4 and v6 versions. On top of the fact I've always loved the basic Mazda6 design from the get-go. To me, my car is almost an extension of myself. I take care of it, I spend a lot of time with it, and I make sure it's clean and presentable :lol:. Gotta love the things you own. They love you back in the way of that nice G-force pulling you back into your seat when the throttle is mashed a little harder all while taking a nice 75 degree turn ;)
