I was messing around with my dads Nikon 8008 35mm, today to see if i liked shooting enough to front the money for a Cannon Rebel xti.

I think i will. The shots i took turned out so/so but for the first time ever trying to take and decent shots its ok.

I forgot to get them on a CD so these are all scanned with no improvments.

You can CC the photos but mostly the shot angles and such. All comments are welcomed but since they were scanned the quality is down.

I didnt use flash all day(should have) and no editing.
I did notice the pictures look like they were takin when the car was newer which is cool

My favorite 3.

Buy your buddy's p-n-s to at least work on composition. It would help if you waited until later in the day or evening. Also, don't park the car under a tree.

The p&s shots came out better. Hell I had one of those at one time...now I just borrow my sons :)

You've got the idea though.

yea his came out way better but its comparing apples to oranges.. Top of the line 1990s to mid grade 2008 tech. lol

Im gonna buy an xti pretty soon.

Ive got my dads PNS to mess with for now.

And yea i realized how bad the tree was after a got the pics back. My dad said the flash that we have for the camera would have made it look 50times better but owell.

You shoot and you learn..thats the only way you will learn.

Its not something that will come over night, takes time. When you do get the cam make sure you come out to some of the Photo runs that myself, or any of the other members do.

Oh and I still love 35mm mmmm:crack:
