Nothing major. Just the air conditioning belt.

Vehicle: 2000 GMC Sierra 1500.
Motor: 5.3L V8.

I can get the serpentine off, but I'm having difficulties with getting the friggin' a/c belt on. I'm not seeing another belt tensioner to shift to get the belt on so if anyone here has any advice for me as to how to get this bastard on ..

I'd muchly appreciate it. Can't find a manual on these things anywhere as it's one of the most common trucks/work trucks in town.

Make sure you have the right size belt, I'm not showing another tensioner on my all data. My guess would be wrong belt.

Have them cross reff. this part number. 12576447 Not sure if they will be able to but thats the part number I show for it.

Well at the VEEEERY bottom of the motor between the crank pulley and the compressor pulley was a goddamn tensioner pulley. It didn't LOOK like one as there was no bolt-tip on the top of it to crank on, rather it was mounted on the back. I had to actually use my HANDS to pull it down and slip the belt on.

I've NEVER seen something like that before. Fucking bolt on the BACKSIDE of the pulley where you can't see it. You'd hardly know it'd move.

But it's taken care of. I appreciate it.

No joke.

Especially in a worktruck that's used for doing HEATING AND AIR Service work.

Last thing I wanna' do is get into a truck with broken a/c after having to be in a hot ass attic trying to figure out why someone's busted ass air isn't working. :(
