"Word" has the correct dates for the Porsche club autocrosses in Z-hills, but I gave him the wrong date for the Rookie weekend. (Sorry, I was given the wrong date).

Here is the planned schedule (all Sundays):

April 20th - 911 vs. Boxster Challenge.
May 4th - 4 Cylinder Porsche Competition
June 8th - Rookie weekend

The 4 Cylinder competition is open to all 4 cylinder Porsches. It's an individual and team competition with NO classes. Highly modified cars are welcome. Danny will have is State Championship 944 there, so come to see if you can best him.

Rookie Weekend is for new people, so it's instruction in the morning, and a 3 run autocross in the afternoon. This will be very basic instruction for beginners. The FAST and EVO schools are much more comprehensive.

I believe our BWM friends will be joining us on April 20th. :)

THe beastie is at the shop with its transmission removed. They are having problems finding parts. It appears the engine-trans is from a 2000 Civic SI and they only made that trans for 1 year. It needs 3rd and 4th syncros- sliders and a Hub... the hub part is what they cant find. The dealer only sells the whole assembly with gears.

So if its back together yes it wlll be out.

Yes. It is an open event. No Pre-registration required.

I drew up the course map last night. Not that it helps but here's how it goes.
Off-set expanding slalom, decision box, contracting slalom, Crossover turn around, 3 Step boxes, five cone box, 2 gates, sweeper box, and a quick right left finish.
Goes out on the sticky side, and comes back pretty Fast on the bad side.
