so the 700 hp integra build turned into the 1000hp integra build a couple weeks after we finished the car thanks to ryan.

we had some set back with the engine, so were going to take care of that and get the build going. we had to already switch out the rods (5/16 bolt eagles) for some beefyer ones, so its not that big of a deal.

the engine is out of the car (thanks jon) and waiting for our in house builder to get his hands on it (antonio).

things we going to be throwing on there:

beefy rods (can get eagles with 3/8 bolts, but might get somthing else)
borg warner s372 race cover .100 a/r back side
second stage of 1600 cc injectors
second fuel system (regulator, pump, lines, fuel cell)
twin disk clutch
beefy axles
new paint

maybes:

front face bottom mount manifold
re-routed 4" downpipe
1000hp air to water intercooler setup with honda half core heat transfer.
cage

this is going to be some fun stuff so keep your eyes peeled.

i'll post up some pics of the turbo, car and engine in the next couple days.

*if anyone is looking for a direct bolt on kit that has proven power numbers (480whp@12psi, 630whp@18psi) with about 1000miles on it we are selling his old kit for $4000 obo. this includes: 4to1 top mount manifold, t67 turbo (.70 a/r compressor, .96 a/r hot side, p-trim turbine, water cooled, 4" welded v-band), 4" downpipe with 4" e-cutout (3" v-band to rest of exhaust), turbosmart 48mm wastegate (with all springs), 2" dump tube that dump under engine, 2.5" hot side and 3" cold side polished intercooler pinping, precsion intercooler 24x12x3 high density cast end tanks, turbosmart raceport bov, stainless -3an feed line and -10an drain line, black couplers, t-bolt clamps and 4" polished cold air intake with aem dry filter.

WTF....this is the setup that made me come to DC, and already bored with it?

Someone must be making a killing in the stock market to do this kind of work over and over again. $4k is crazy cheap, even if you have to spend another $2k to copy that oil pan

DC also wants to get this project going. we are going to be helping a little bit to make this project a reality.

Oh yea? Well I'm moving out of state in July....so I'll be expecting some gifts from you guys...lol

But seriously...I'm going on another trip for a few weeks in June...I'm definately bringing the car to you guys to finish what we spoke about and maybe a few more things :) I'm having way too much fun to give up the car while I'm still in sunny florida to enjoy it! [/threadjack]

engine is torn down and we are still in the quoting process on what we are going to do. there probably won't be that much development with this progress for a couple weeks. i'll keep posting up pictures as i get them, but it will be a while. and yes, the customer is aware of the timeline.

the head gasket was blown and two of the ring packs were lined up. besides that, the engine was in pretty good shape. depending on the bill, were going to probably go ahead are re-do the piston combo and stick with a stock head gasket thickness. we are also most likely going to re-sleeve the block and put a smaller piston in to keep a little beef on the cylinder walls. as or right now the finish bore on the sleeves is a touch over 85mm. we'll probably go with a 83mm sleeve and punch it out to a 83.5mm piston. little less displacement, but i don't think anyone is worried about torque and power.

antonio will be building the engine from the ground up.

before a 3mm headgasket was added to compensate for the 11.5:1 compression. the engine was originally built for nitrous.
