rb20 swap1700-3000,wiring swap is 300,gauges are your call, driveshaft [one piece 400] is prefered ,motor mounts are 500 from mckinney or you can get knockoffs for 325 from tophat, intercooler and piping 300-600, 3"downpipe and exhaust is around 600-1000,unless someone does custom exhaust work you know, need s14 throttle cable and to fab a bracket 100,s14 radiator or koyo aluminum with slim fans 280-400,need nissan ka 4cyl temp and speed sensor 75 used, tach need to be recalibrated xat sells a box to make tach read rite 80,z32 fuel filter and walboro fuel pump 250,new rad hoses 50-100,all fluids changed 100,if you dont have posi rear end you gotta get one 150 or so.....and ur time is priceless.....so lets add it up 4700 low with some knockoff parts and around 6000 top end with good quality parts

he is definately right about the rb20,go rb25det (thats what i got) or the holy grail ...the rb26dett!!its all on ur budget, all i gave was what the budget would be for the rb20,rb25 is not much more but def worth it,if u got 8 or 9 grand to spend go rb26

heres an engine bay pic of a rb25 s14 we "cleaned up" a couple months ago. the swap was done some other place, but we basically pulled it out and re-did everything to make it drive daily.
he had a lot of add on parts, so this is a bit more then $6k. car made 500whp on 23psi uncorrected and then 430whp on 19psi corrected.
if you want to see some more pics of it, check this out:

RB20 makes 15hp more than an SR20 with an extra 2 cylinders...I would definitely shoot for something else. For the money your spending an SR would be around the same and you could turn boost up to 14lbs (with required bolt ons of course) and make 260...RB20 is a bastard child engine not a lot of aftermarket support for it...I see you had a TII throw a three rotor in that bih!

Oh shit I forgot to put my TII FB in my sig! That TII actually refers to the GLHS/GLHT dodge omni/daytona/charger/etc... late 80's dodge motors :]
Should I just jump on the SR bandwagon?
I might want to do something different... Like Sr20VE-T :D :D :D

lol turbo 2.2 dodges are a blast my friend had a CSX shelby went 12.2's on street tires...the rotary thing would kinda suck because you would have to rev so high...you would be a real man if you went with the VE!

FYI, a stock driveshaft will work with the RB20 swap. A single piece is just an upgrade.

VVL sounds so sick... I think I might do an Sr20Ve n/a for a while until i can afford a good turbo/IC.
Then maybe some Sr16N1 cams and TB :]
