Testing waters: Fooked up carbon fiber hood

Well.... im an ass once again. I left my hood pins out and owned my windshield.... no biggy. My hood (TCsportline) needed some tlc and it is still useable but i dont want it. The fiberglass skeleton of the hood is cracked and lets the hood flex, One chip in the gel coat about an inch long and some scratches. The hood is also drilled for hood pins. Im going to be ordering a brand new hood monday. This would be perfect for someone who doesnt care about looks and just wants the weight savings.
