Need help, still learning.

Well I took this photo with a XTi, basic lense. I'm going to upgrade to something with more of a zoom soon.

I used a Mono pod for the stand...

I know I some what over do it with the effects alot, I know I have to work with that. Here is a photo I took on the side of I-75 heading into shady hills.

what do you need help with? back off the effect just the littlest, i mean littlest, bit and it would be perfect.

Also see if you can make the horizon horizontal. That will help it quite a bit as well.

Looks cool, I agree, just a slight less contrast/adjustment... looks good though
