VW Golf vs Diablo VT

I was turning left onto Bearss from 275 about a month ago and I notice a peculair vehicle sitting at the light about to head my way. Once on bearss I cruise along at like 15mph waiting for his light to change and him to catch up to me. Holy smokes batman! A brand new Lambourghini Diablo VT! he was followed by a couple of pricks in convertible mustangs. I wanted in on the parade so I cut off one of the stangs (much to their dismay) and rode along next to Mr. Lambo. We got to the light at N. Boulevard and Bearss and stopped. Just for shits and giggles I started revving on the ghini. He rolled down his window and laughed at me. The mustangers found it to be quite humerous also. The light changes and we all floor it. All I saw were two red taillights shrinking into nothingness. Ive never seen a car do that before. Quite impressive. Its too bad the driver was such a dork. He looked about mid 30s greasy hair and a big fat gold chain. Probably won the lottery or something. At any rate cars like that are for guys without dicks. Thats just their way of making up for it. As for the mustangs they were probably on their way to pick up their Jr. High girlfriends...

Ha I work at the Taco Bell/KFC on erlich road and I was taking out the trash one night and that guy drove up. Its the gray diablo right? Well he parked in the corner of the parking lot completely away from everyone eles cars. He looked like he was 25 though. Not 30. He came in so I saw him. Everyone at work was drooing over it but I thought it was mad ugly.

I like the car but for $250K its overpriced to me. I think they run like low 13s. If I was filthy rich that would be one of the last cars I would buy. A Saleen S7 would prolly be 1st

i would at least think mid 12s for that price. and i believe the newest ones pull like 12.00 flat or something really close!

I think that the diablo non VT runs 12.8 and the VT is around mid 12s. They may loose to a gutted civic in the 1/4 but I wanna see any car here run 200+mph also. If the driver is the big fat guy around mid 30s that diablo(and the guy) lives in clearwater off of Mcmullen or us19. A diablo is a status car. I talked to the guy with the diablo that used to go to the Bk when is was infront of Target. He said that the rear rims alone cost 5k! :eek: I would definately trade in my car for it. Theres 2 Diablos that I see occasionally around here in Temple Terrace...A blue one and a yellow one..As a matter of fact the guy with the blue one was at Circuit City on Fowler a couple months back...anyways.. http://www.supercars.net/SDBQ?y=2000&m=Lamborghini&o=Diablo%20VT%206.0 says the 1/4 mile in 11.2 sec.

Its the fact that he knows he is gonna loose but what the hell. If you loose against a car of that type well you loose and thats expected.
