gonna be awfully hard to make mid 300's with just an intake and injector swap unless you have a power adder. you probably don't even need to change injectors yet. consider buying the intake and sitting on it until you buy heads cam and doing it all at once. you'll be much happier and work less.
just an fyi,
stock 5.0 with stock cam and intake swap might even feel slower down low on the street imo.

On stock heads 24's are plenty..... depending on the cam head combo your going to get will help decide what injector you should use.

N/A 19s are useable to about 300rwhp, 24s about 350...

Save your money and buy heads first. As a matter of fact there are some nice heads in the for sale section now. With that get an explorer intake, have the lower ported then spend 300.00 on a custom cam.
Nothing wrong with spending money...just spend it in the right places.

id buy some heads first for sure. I think Racingrick has a nice pair of budget heads that would work well for you.

Dont forget your gonna need a mass air flow sensor calibrated to which every injectors you decided to go with.

what calibration do i need for the 24ib injectors??

the mass air has to be calibrated to the injector, ie: 24 lb injectors mass air must be calibrated for 24 lb injectors.
( i have a mass air, 24 lb injectors, and adjustable fpr for sale ;) )
