I need some ideas on a budget lift for a 2001 ford explorer, its 2wd, I'm thinking about just crankin up the torchen bars in the front and maybe some 3" spindels for the front, then a spring over axle swap for the rear, is the soa lift safe? any problems with it?? Any help would work. Thanks!

im not trying to be a dick, please dont take this the wrong way but i do not see the reason why people lift a 2wd truck/suv, if your not going to go thru mud then why pay all that money for tires that wont last as long as a regular tire, or lift when you never use it, its a big waste of money and the way things are going now a days you will never get your money back out of the vehicle if you do all that stuff

I understand your not trying to be a dick lol I'm looking to just make it look a lil beefier, I'm sick of these stock 28in or whatever wheels lol It looks so gay, I'm not going to mud the shit out of it, been there done it, broke shit, went broke lol Just trying to make this thing look nice. I have 31" BFG A/T's on the side of the house so I'm good with tires.

yea i understand, thats cool if ya want to do that, my boss has a 96' Explorer and it looks like a turd with 235/65/15 rims and tires, put on some 18's with the 31's and it will be beefier

I think I might just use the stock wheels. I saw the factory ford wheels with a set of 31 BFG A/T's and the thing looks sick as fuh! I'm also THINKING of putting a safari type roof rack on top and throwing some 6' KC's on it. lol I can get all this pretty cheap cause I work at my buddies shop so thats a plus.

Do you have the ranger edge?? And the factory spindles?? If so could you send me some pics just to make sure that the spindles are the same cause I could just buy a pair of Ranger Edge spindles.
