can you use a v6 t5 trans with an lt1 bell housing? thanks

yes but a V6 T-5 will not bolt up to a V8 as the input spline is a different count. also a V6 T-5 will be shelled by a V8

No, an LT1 bellhousing would be for a T56, which uses a completely different bellhousing than a T5. You could however use a T5 with a T5 bellhousing, on an LT1.

sorry thats right... i got the hydro set up from late T5's confused with T56.

T5's were hydro 84+
