Hey guys.. posting this from my phone so sorry for any weird typos. Desoto is available next Thursday the 27th! We are looking at more then likely doing a half day so far the list if people going is:

1- 4wheeldrifts13 (s13.5)

This means we need more people (with cars) I say that because I got PM's asking if you have to pay to watch.. le sigh... I just need to knwo who wants to drift so either post up here or pm me so I can get a list and break down the price per person (because it is based off a total number) and also the amount of drift time that each person will be able to get so that this is fair across the board. As I am notified I will add your name to the list. Also if you want to let me know of a FUTURE date to set an event up I am down for helping get it together so if this isn't a good day for you post up when would be a good day.

Im so glad you made this; People stop being e-drifters and get out to desoto ; this is a practice day so no pressure.. More people we get the less we have to pay. jeremy lowe, dan"big dog" chilton, Bailey and other usual drivers? where you at?

You need to market this to all these guys on here(TR) that I see talking about drifting, but I have never seen the first one out there doing it.

I'll see if I can attend, but you gotta remember its a 2+ hour drive just for me to get over there.

if you 3 go itll be 9am-1pm for about 120 each.
the more you guys get to go the cheaper it gets. check my earlier post for breakdown, like first page of the "Rent Desoto" thread

I really wanna go to gainesville. I'm having some running issues with my car, but as of right now I'm going to Gville and Orlando April 5th, should be a fun filled day of drifting.

Then pending on how JLo and BigDog are doing at Moroso head down there to show some support.

Just out of curiousity...how often do these happen on weekends? Once my car is done and I can actually say I know what I'm doing, I'll come out. But I have an 8-5 job so week days wouldn't work for me OR the other people I know who come out.

well the way it looks, if we dont get more people will have to postpone it.. and its tuesday now... If I dont get 3 more people we're not even bothering.. (I have sfldrifter guys who want to..but 2 counted so far..and there isnt a way to get their prepayment. Bodon, you should come down to get down..but like I said...pm me if your still interested otherwise we'll just have to postpone it..>_< le sigh

*not necessarly true... (think about it..) 6 people, on the track for 5 hours.. You'll have more than enough track time.. more time than you think

its all about people DOING and not talking. if your ok with next thursday? just a good 4 people and Id be down with it.

weekends FTW cause those are easiest to take off :) sean you know ill be down if its on a weekedn so try and plan one for like april/may

weekends are NOT able to be rented. we will throw an event in mid-late april and it will be a CHEAP sunday event like always. the weekdays are for private renting. sean is not setting up an event but is trying to rent the track with a few people.

You will be changing tires/cooling your car more than driving even if you were there solo. So there is plenty of time to share. and 9-1 is only a 4 hour block, not 5 sean ^^.

+1 on the tire changing; just on a good desoto sunday practice (*7-12 cars) you go through tires..I cant imagine 5-8...phew lol

Demetri - just come for a desoto event. Im sure by that time there will be an event.. if not of course im down for a rental :)

What are you talking about I went out there and killed it my first time....NOT. You remember how horrible I was. Everyone was saying you should just give up you suck. haha just kidding, but it is a learning experience

O and I got the infield on lock now.

well sweet. if you set up one of these i'll see what i can do about getting out there. nervous about using the car i drive daily even if its setup for track use anyway.

Oh my god lol. I remember that Bailey I thought you were going to give up. You had a Lead throttle foot and through the turns youd give it too much gas, it'd spool, and youd spin out like everytime... but yeah dude, I SUPER failed my first time in desoto.. lol
I made my own course up...and it lasted like...2 minutes..because I thought it was open practice.. at an EVENT lol! :lol:
