Lexus Altezza (IS 300) goes down

While sitting at a red light last night I saw a silver Altezza turn off Waters Ave. onto Anderson Road and get on it. How interesting I thought. I caught up with him up the road at the next light. I looked over and nodded at the guy driving and he just looked over and ignored me. (must be too rich to nod at someone in a Civic) The light turned green and I rolled out in first gear waiting and sure enough he jumped on it. I stepped on it then slammed it in second gear and proceeded to spank his $40000 sports sedan bad. Nice cars but they need a six speed a turbo and a lesson from team green. :D

Personally I like how the car looks a lot. However theyre slow as balls for that size engine. I think even the Celica GT-S can beat them quarter-mile wise. Theyre talking about making the 5 (or 6?) speed version a bit faster and more sporty.

actually those numbers are good for a car that size..

114ft stopping distance is NICE.. most cars cant touch 120ft

7.5 sec to 60? not bad at all! its probably the same as my car and mine weighs 2300lbs! plus it has the N/A verison of the Supra motor.. LOTS of potential... its not as bad of a car as you think..i would most definately buy one!

raced that same guy the other night in the itr. i guess he didnt know what the badge stood for. :D silver is300 driver is around 24-28. he started revvin at me and looked at me. i didnt even launch hard. i just grandma it and punched it giving him at least 1-2 car lengths headstart. by the time we hit that linebaugh turn he was way behind me ass. he caught up with me at the next stop light and he didnt do anything anymore. those things have nice sporty suspension and i guess he also had lsd because he actually took that corner hard while gunning it. lololol. i never liked the silver. i love the solar yellow autumn sky pearl and the onyx black. :D they will be comming with a manual 6 speed tranny on their coupes but not sure about the sedans yet.

i dont like you all puting down imports like that they arent pieces of shit with the proper mods they can take just about any one i own a 95 eclipse its all stock for now but when i get the money no one will be able to touch me. not to put donw domestics either but i prefer the look of the imports the domestics have some great power as stock cars but it takes lots of $$$$$$ and many hours of work to power it to its max. oh and im not afraid to race just because my car is stock dont meen ill loose. look for the green eclipse that says LOWER -N- BEHOLD front and back cya

some imports are OK!! but other than that they do nothin for me. and as for more money being put into domestics to make them faster. that is true. but you have to put more money into the imports just to get them to move next to things like cobras and z28s. so more money gets put into imports than domestics.

If you can put the 2JZ-GTE into an SC300 then you can put it into the new lexus. I mean its only the third car to use that same engine and SCs Supras and altezzas should all benefit from the much more powerful 2JZ-GTE =) Itd come with its 6 speed transmission already har har har.
