Default how to care for new paint?

i just got my body kit on my car 2 weeks ago, also had a CF hood cleared. he told me not to wax the new paint for 90 days so it wont mess up the clear.

whats the best way to clean the car to get the most shine and not mess up the the paint? and is the quick detail spray stuff ok to use or not?

Thanks!

90 days is a bit excessive. I used to say a month til one of the regional Ppg tech said after a two weeks is fine(paint cures faster in heat, Florida is hot). The quick detail is great specially with a micro fiber. Just put a coat of Maguire's nxt wax a plus quick detail and you should be good. and there is the obvious tips, keep it out of the elements and so on.
