Ran an EBP Si tonight(Kaluwa)from a 35 roll.

First run I hit it and I'm out maybe a fender,miss 3rd and that was the end of that run.

Second run,I hit it and I'm out a fender again,bang 3rd and I'm out a car maybe,bang 4th and now I'm out 1 and a half cars to 2 cars and I shut down.

Good runs, I did alot better than I thought I would.

But it was a bit different than that. When we hit it in 2nd I was out about a fender or half car or so and then you slowly pulled about 1 car in 3rd and another 1/2 car through 4th.. Held that 1.5 car lead when we shut down around ~120.

Keep in mind his CRX weighs under 2,000 lbs and my car weighs over 2,650 lbs. 35 roll again in 2nd gear.

I don't know how much a CRX with a STOCK B16 weighs. Keep in mind i have FULL interior, Sound system W/ a Sub AND full working A/C. Plus add me.

^ 2174 + 150 (j00) plus 140 (motor/AC) = 2464

< 2601 + 140 (me) plus 20 (school books/backpack) = 2761

= 297 lbs less!

Not my place to say what he has but I will say hes running stock P2t its a 00 Si. He has mods but we both know and everyone with a honda know a p2t is pretty shitty ecu when it comes to performance anyway and with a good tune I think he can make up that car and half.

ah gotcha! If it's an 97up it's obd2 too right?? Thats the worst on board diagnostic system to tune is it not? I guess I'm gonna go obd1 and get a tune too...maybe that'll get me that 13xx on street tires I've been shooting for since I got her.

Yea I'm running a p2t which is a 99-00 Si ECU. Anything 96 and up is obd2. I know I won't see a major increase in power with my tune but it will definitely wake it up a bit.

And yea I didn't lose to bad as you said, only 1.5 cars up to 110-120 ish.. Same against Josh.

yes 97 and up are obd2a.. his is actually a obd2b. You cant really tune it. You can do a few things with a piggy back like a vafc but not much. He has decent quality mods so he should see a worthy gain from a tune.

everyone can see an advantage from tuning. im on stock gsr cams but not on the stock gsr pistons. but yes you will see gains from tuning. especially if youve done the basic bolt on.

I just got done putting in new plugs, now i need wires. It runs a little better but still cutting out :thumbdwn:

I also think it's the VAFCII and it being OBD0. Kinda doin the same thing as Albertos ITR EF did. Switched the program and ran fine :roll:

+1 . get some wires n check ur timig with a light. if you need i can set it for you monday night. i carry a light with me just in case i have another distributor shit out on me lol. if its cuttin out id replace cap and rotor as well.

+1 . get some wires n check ur timig with a light. if you need i can set it for you monday night. i carry a light with me just in case i have another distributor shit out on me lol. if its cuttin out id replace cap and rotor as well.

Cap and Rotor are NEW, Rob said timing was dead on. So next is wires and an oil change. Along with a new order for a OBD0-OBD1 conversion from RyWire most likely. Then gotta find a ECU.
