Default can a micky 325/50-15 be shoe horned under a fox body?

The car has NO wheel lips , cutting and beating with a hammer isnt an issue. Is it feasable to get this tire under a fox? Does anyone know which width wheel and back space would get the job done? The reason im asking is the next drag radial size down they have listed is only a 9.2 in tred

The bulge will stick out on a 10" wheel with a 6.5" backspace, plus you will have to beat the shit out of the inner fenderwells to get it to clear on the inside.....

Too really get it under the car properly you need to minitub the car and use a 10" wheel with a 7.5" backspace..... We just went through this on my buddies 91 LX not too long ago.....

i was barely able to fit 325 bfg's on my hatch, when i went to mickeys on the same combo they didnt fit, they are bigger than the bfg's are, some cars are able to fit them due to cars just being different but in general they dont fit

The question is, will mini-tubbing your car make it illegal for any class you might want to race in.

If you are just wanting to do it on a street car, mini-tub it. If you want the widest possible D.O.T. tire for a particular sanctioning body series, try to make them fit.

I have talked to guys on Corral that "say" they made it work since I was thinking of mini-tubbing my coupe about 4 months ago.
