dumb question

Default dumb question

i had power steering but it had a problem so i cut the belt and have not done anything else with it could it mess anything up driving it with everything hooked up except the belt

thanx hey if i wanna remove the pump should i cut the hoses as far back as i can and then plug them

no, if you wanna remove a part you don't just hack it off. buy a manual and do it right in case you want it later or the next owner does, or pay someone to do it.

there are clamps on the hoses,don't cut the hoses just remove the whole bottle that holds the fluid.
