my 5.0 vs srt

today a good friend of mine drove down from north port to meet up with me he drives an 04 srt4 intake,dumped,stage 1, greddy e01, 14lbs or so
my 88' 5.0 looks like ass:mullet: :tires, intake , mass air conversion, underdrive pully,3.08 stock rear, and dumps

leaving the light at jones loop and taylor we both launch i jump 1 1/2 cars instantly( we're both spinning super hard, both through first and second) he starts to pull at the top of his 2nd and shifts im still in second and shift at like 6300, he noses out just a tad and run through 3rd he puls about another 1/2 car all together by the top of third hes out just under a car and we both shut down very fun and impresive run i think seing as i paid chump change for my car when his is worth 10 times mine from a roll he ate me of course... fun race between friends surprised me how well i did

as my car sits right now i have 2 wins 1 loss
w1 = 1996 z28 intake exhaust and tires
w2 = 2006 cts 3.5 awd duhh(ex girlfriend wouldnt stop running her mouth on how her car would woop my peice of shit(out like 9 cars haha)):lol:

Why are you shifting at 6300? Don't you stop making power at 5,500 on stock heads.

yea bro at most i'd shift at 6k... 6300 is really pushing it on a pushrod motor!

shift it at 5,500-6k.

dig runs are ya'lls weak point cause you guys are missing the most important mods...tires and a good driver! hahahaha

lol...tires yes, but you won't see many guys drivin around with DR's. & driver mod, there are some that can really drive, & will still get wheel spin.
