View Full Version : As I predicted, RE: ish for sale
I made one exception and it backfired and everyone started posting things for sale in here and the forum became a tire for sale barrage.
From here on out, Tires and wheels go in the Tires and Wheels FS subforum.
Specific brand parts go within the specific Make subforum.
No exceptions.
thanks,
this is in order to maintain a clean website and making things go where they belong.

the problem is that if person A is looking for part X they have to check nissan for sale/ tires for sale/ drifting for sale/ autox for sale, instead of knowing that tires are always and ONLY in the tire section.
makes it easier for buyer/seller making connections.
i see the logic- just i never usually go anywhere else on TR. i dont care tho, im to broke to buy shit and i have no spare parts to sell lol.

the problem with the wheels/tires section is that it's normally over run with crappy rims people are trying to sell from their hondas.

yeah it's like rotapalooza in there.
how did it backfire?
all of a sudden, there were 11 tires for sale threads.
as stated before, we DO have a wheels and tires subforum. Just use that one from here on out

Well, NOW we no longer so just get over it.
and, it's not so much a problem, more like common sense (something that is deficient in many)
so it's not a big deal unless people make it one

i'm dissapointed rey. can't we just like petition to get a drifting for sale thread created? i mean if the people that use this forum want it, i don't see the problem. we get like a post a week here if were lucky.

The fact that RR/Auto-x has a FS section should permit us to have one also. It allows people with stuff like a single set of rims(2) to sell them because most budget drifters dont use their good rims on the back... Then there is people with tires only good enough to throw down a run or two.. They sell them here because noone else wants them... I dont see the big problem with it, If there was a drift FS section most the things that belonged here would be here...

i honestly don't see why they're fighting us on this. i mean if the users of this forum want it, i really don't see the big deal...at all.

It IS about the "clutter BS"
plus, it's NOT going to change so everyone just drop it
Common sense > crying

it HAS been discussed and had the same end result.
Maybe if there were more "on topic threads"
less complaint threads,
increased traffic in general......
then maybe it would make sense to add a subforum.
just look at the so demanded drifting tech forum - Once you all got it, we average a post a week if that..
