Steve B

started monkeying with it this weekend with Stewart Scott, thanks a million stewart. Thanks to Stewart i was able to pull the motor out of the 92 donor car and install it into the 86
Right now i have to decide if it will be easier to stuff the ecu harness into the 86 from the 92, or chase down the engine side of the harness for the 86, or just do as any other Hacksaw Jim Duggan mustang monkey put a carb on it and forget about it.
I learned that one of the a/c lines are different, and my rolling chassis 86 is missing a bunch of stupid little things making this less plug and play.
so far so good, here is one pic of me cursing the harness. stewart is laughing somewhere out of frame.

THIS IS NOW MY THREAD. KTHNX.
Picked this car up from Steve B and I'm planning on finishing what he started.
Anyway, heres how it looked when I sold it off 2.5 years ago. Gives you an idea of how far its come.

Since I've had it, I've painted some trim pieces, put the center console together, and redone the dash.
Heres the condition it was in when I picked it up from steve a week and a half ago.

So I am tackling the weatherstripping for the next couple days. the one that was on there was a hardtop fox weatherstrip that was cut to fit ttops and just smeared together with some silicone. makes installing the correct stuff a little difficult. spent 6 hours cleaning off the two metal brackets and test fitting on the drivers side alone. Hopefully it will turn out good, it can get frusterating to say the least :P
