yeah i wanted it to be as simple as possable. more pics of it in the truck geting it in tomarow after i glass it and get the holes cut out for my new cd player and my eq...



also a pic of my new ugly box it had gray carpet on it and im doing all black in my truck so i ripped the carpet off now it has fer! lol


this is befor i cleaned the truck out a few hours agaio

This have promise! the staples are gonna make it somewhat difficult to get the hu to sit flush but a layer or two of resin over them will prolly help.

it has 2 layers of resin on it but im going to start glassing it tomarow

looks like its going to turn out pretty good

bondo the hell out of it and make it super smooth and that way you can round everything out more.

had to modify it cause i built it for a reg face CD player and i traded my selenium 8's for a cd player with a fold down face ( itll work till i get money for a new one ) pics

i thought u knew how to do bodywork? looks like you used a 8 inch disk sander with 36grit to shape a gallon of bondo then spray painted it black. props for trying tho.

i used 80 grit and a drill i didnt finish it cause it dont fit so im redoing it...

Call me thick headed, but can someone give me the differences between resin and 'glass'. I was under the impression that 'bondo' was the fiber glass.
