I'm not sure about used products.
But i'm sure i'm not the only one that fell for there ad on Craigslist.
It claimed "going out of business" sales,40% off bla bla.
When I went,Everything was ABOVE retail prices.
They tried to sell me on 4 12'' Green Audio pipes for like $350...Speakers that I get for $30.
Thankfully I held out.

bottom line their shady bastards!!! they didnt stand behind their warrenty, and he got pissed that i got a 2nd opinion on everything by a very well known person thats been in the business and has trophys and awards to prove it and when i told them that, they apparently see them selves as "god" because RICHARD the guy from PnR was saying you shouldnt have gone to some back alley, hole in the wall place.
to skee: you can find alot better place then them, plz do so. just lookin out ;)
for other fellow TR members.
EDIT: richard is a complete asshole!!!

how much was the amp? I cant see them quibbling over a $100 amp. was it a high price item?
my buddy bought a $80 dalla amp hooked it up and found out it wasnt his amp that was the probly so his old one was still good so he went to return it a hour later and they gave him store credit but thats how some big stores are to so i dont know

The amp was a Brand New in the box Alpine that when he came back with and had 8ga. ground wires with 4 ga power wires, we told him then that his installation was bad and needed to be corrected he chose to drive away instead of paying $50 to have us fix it. So when he came back a month later I told him we would send the amp back to Alpine via our distributor for them to test it and fix or replace at there recomendation and he again chose not to.
To bad for your Luck but do not blame me because your friend did a shitty installation and burned up a brand new Alpine Amp.
PS Send it back to Alpine and they will probably honor the warranty

Easy way to solve this: send the laptop in under warranty...
Or take pnr to small claims where he will provide proof of return policy and let the judge decide.

first of all i did not use the wire he supplied because it would not fit in his cap. the car has a batt in the trunk and one in the front .the cap is connected to the batt which is two feet away buy a 4 gauge wire . then 8 guage wire to the amp which is two feet away and its only powering a 125 x 4 and you told him that the wire is too small and thats why the amp was damaged.wtf how are you trying to kid. just taking advantage of a naive kid is all you did i cant run my business that way .i couldnt sleep at night.feel free to stop by my shop and you can tell me how i suck.its in my sig look down.and that amp was not new by no means at all another lie you sir fail

Obviously there's always two sides to every story. You made your case, and anything more at this point is going to do nothing but stoke the fire. Thanks for sharing your views and I'm glad PnR had a chance to defend themselves, but any further arguing/problems can be taken to PM's.
