Come and spend your sunday @ Lakeland

We will be having a great event on Sunday 3.2.08. We will have several different categories of racing that will be happening and we hope to see you there.

Included in our program will be


Stock / Super Stock Tech cards are $50.00
* NHRA or IHRA cars that will pass a tech inspection for these classes.
* This will be a class that will be based on indexes of classes. (more like normal bracket racing)



Super Comp / Super Gas Tech cards are $50.00
* NHRA or IHRA cars that will pass a tech inspection for these classes.
* This class will be running on IHRA indexes for the 1/8 mile. They will run on a .400 pro tree and will be running against each other.




Open outlaw Tech cards are $50.00
* This class is ANY car ANY combo. These cars will be checked for saftey only
* This class will be a dial in class.



Nostalgia Cars Tech cards are $50.00

* These cars are 1971 and older cars and will be based on a dial.



Hemi Shootout Tech cards are $25.00

* These are cars that are Hemi cars
* This will be a HEADS up class.


All classes will be 100% payback, and you may enter more than one class if your car fits into more than one class. You will have to buy a second tech card if you choose to do this.

General admission is $ 15.00 Children 10 and under are free. Tech card prices do not include gate admission.

We will be opening our gates @ 7am and Tech will open @ 8am

All cars will be required to present thier car for tech inspection even if it is for saftey only. (outlaw, hemi, and nostalgia classes)

Time trials will begin @ 9 am and eliminations will begin @ 2pm

We will not have open time trials...you will be called to the lanes for your time trials, so do not show up @ 1:30 and expect to get in the show. More than likey you will have missed both of your time trials.
We are also not selling Test and Tune only cards.

I just want to say that I saw a white impalla that was sticker wrapped as your official pace car on I4 Tuesday. This is a great way to get publicity, it defenitely got me thinking about heading to your track......that is until I noticed the guy behind teh wheel driving poorly.

No use of turn signals while changing into another occupied lane. I got a good view of your sponsor when the car cut in front of me though. :lol:




enough of my ranting. I am near the track and will do my best to be out there.

I do apologe for your problems on I-4 and I will defiatly pass along your misforutune to the manager of USA International Speedway. This event on Sunday is at Lakeland Motorsports Park (a.k.a Lakeland Dragstrip). We have no pace cars and we definatly dont have any cars that are sticker wrapped for us... although the thought is a good one.
