I think that the majority are dark, the exposure is dull and grainy. More contrast would do work. My favorite photo is #1.

You should shoot the cars (at angles, if needed) to compliment their body curves, i.e. different perspectives that can depict the car best.

Your main thing you should do is center the object you are shooting.

When your shooting a main object your going to wanna focus on that object. Since there isnt a "nice" background your going to have to focus on that main object your shooting. Meaning centering would be a great start. Some of his pictures are centered but some arent. Such as the first pic.
But the pics do need more exposure.

A background that will work with your subject can ALWAYS be made. Arranging and moving to create the composition your eyes see.

Yes, and thats where work with what you have comes in to play. But when you cut off half the car it just doesnt look good. I guess thats just me. Unless your focusing on a certin object. Such as his tail light picture with the jetta in that background. Thats a nice pic.

Example:

dull subject placement is just, dull.
arranging interesting perspectives will give new foreign eyes the view that the photographer sees.
unorthodox cropping and other aspects put your potential photo at risk.
