What is the break point(time wise) at which you need a roll cage for a convertible? provided you are running at a track that actually has rules.........

I thought is was 12.9999 but wasnt sure.

Is a full cage required for the 12s or just a roll-bar across the top of the car?

What about the 11s ??

Copied this from www.nira.com

A roll bar is mandatory in all cars running 11.99 or quicker and in convertibles running 13.99 or quicker.

Roll cages are mandatory in cars 10.99 or quicker or in any car exceeding 135 mph even in Street classes but full bodied cars with unaltered firewalls floor and body (from firewall rearward wheeltubs permitted) running between 10.00 and 10.99 may run a roll bar in place of a roll cage.
