Ladies and gentlemen,
I have just acquired an sc300 and I will be doing a 2jzgte swap real soon. I'm looking for a reputable source to buy this motorset. I know of Osaka Jdm Motors, but I think I can get this swap cheaper than 5500.
Just so everyone knows I will need an uncut harness, ECU, complete motor and 6spd. Please help.

You will not get a US spec gte motor with a 6 speed for less than 5500. The tranny's alone are going for 3000+ and a compete us spec motor with a wiring harness will run 3000+. You can try the importers or look on Supraforums or Clublexus but there are hundreds of people out there looking for the same exact thing who have cash ready to spend and as soon as they come up they are gone. My advise to you is either build the GE motor or increase what your willing to spend.

I found a place that will sell just the motor, uncut harness, and ecu for 1600.
This is the same place XAT uses to get all their motors. They guarantee quality. I didn't want to, but I may just go with an R154. The 6spd is just so damn expensive, and the R154 fits right in the tranny tunnel with no modifications nor would I need a custom drive shaft.

That is a JDM motor for sure. This means smaller injectors, different turbos, different cams, etc. Make sure your comparing apples to apples. It's cool if you are planning to go with a 290hp motor that you will be leaving mostly stock. You'll have to change the harness, turbos, injectors, cams, and a bunch of stuff on the intake manifold to bring it up to US spec, non of which are cheap and you'll still only have a 350hp motor. For what you would spend to do all that you could get a quality NA-t kit from Boostlogic and be making 500hp.
I'm not trying to shoot down your plans just giving you some other options that maybe you didn't thing about.

JDM Miami. They are the shit. I got a RE motor from them and it rocks. They have awesome prices, motors, and are really honest and straight forward. They are worth the drive. I live 10 minutes from JDMAddiction and I would happily drive the 6 hours to miami anytime for a motor.

I have heard of JDM Miami and actually called them, but they have none in stock. I have a 260k GE in my sc it just would not be smart to boost it. I'd have to rebuild it before I even thought of making it NA-T

As far as Osaka goes I've seen dozens of motors come from them w/out any problems. My SR came from Osaka I've had no problems with my motor. When I got it, it was a very very clean motorset.

I really appreciate everyone hookin me up with all these places. I'm learning though that this isn't the easiest motorset to get. Someplaces can't even say when they will get another set in stock.

fuck osaka, i would not buy from them. They are con's. I bought a few motors from them all of them either were the wrong engine, or had the harness cut.

Team redline? I've never heard of them. You say 4500 for a complete motorset with a 6spd. That's unbelievable!! that's the cheapest I've heard so far. Most places want between 5-7grand for the 6spd motorset. I've started to lean more toward an automatic MK4 motorset cause they are like 1700 and then just find an r154 from a soarer. Or get any R154 and buy the JZ bell housing.
