Exclamation S13 Sr20det Bov

I just bought an Greddy RS BOV with a flange and I have never installed a bov before and I was wanting to ask a question which intercooler pipe would it be best to install it on, the one coming off the turbo or the one coming off the throttle body? and anyother information about installing a BOV would also help me alot.

You mean the placement of the BOV, either hot pipe or cold pipe?
hot pipe= between intercooler and turbo
cold pipe= between TB and intercooler

It really doesn't matter which side it goes.
There has been a few threads, including one i made.

From what Ive heard, putting the BOV on the cold side is the best place because when it opens the intercooler stays somewhat presurised. However it wll be louder on the hotside as it is under a little more pressure than the cold side. corect me if im wrong tho... -Shane

it will not matter....

BOV LOCATION

I can't believe that was 2 years ago. Time flies by quick.

BOV seals aren't going to melt because they are designed to withstand engine bay temps., hell, some are made from all metal components.
