I couldn't get any good shots anything above 3 sec shutter speed came out a liiltle blurry on my 70-300 lens

The clouds cleared up during the eclipse here. I don't have a tripod so all mine have that blurry effect. :(

i got close to 100 pics. i'll probably end up with maybe 20 or so...

i got a pretty good range of the eclipse. i was playing around with the settings so i have multiple shots from each time.

im gonna be doing some serious layering/stitching in PS and make a nice little series.

settings: d50 - 300mm - f5.6 shutter at the beginning was ~320, then i dropped it a little, then f16 at around 100 or so. then once it really started getting covered i dropped the shutter to about 2-3 seconds.

i was using a 70-300 mm lens, white balance was set on direct sunlight +3 to -2, couldnt really tell the differance.

F 5.6
shutter speed was anywhere from 360-500

ISO of 100

anyways...im a little upset on the ones that i had to expose longer so i can get the "red" color from total eclipse so we'll see...i wont have any cool composites yet, so i'll just put up a bunch of singles from different phases of the eclipse sound like a plan? :D
