Hi guys...thought i'd ask you guys..
I have a Nikon D70S and I have a Sigma 18-200mm lens..which is perfect for zooming in on distant objects etc...but sucks with close up photos.
Well I want to buy a nice Macro/Micro Lens for my camera but I don't really know which ones take nice pics etc...so if anyone has some experience in this could you help me??? Lol.
Oh btw I looked at two lenses one was a 18-55mm lens by Nikon...and another was a 60mm fixed one that is specialized for Macro Pictures..I am kinda wanting a lens where I can manually zoom AND focus...But the guy at Ritz Camera said that there are not many with Macro function.

Word to the wise: Stay away from Ritz... FAR away. Order online from bhphotovideo.com, adorama.com, keh.com or somewhere else that's reputable.
Ritz will rip you off, other internet dealers will scam you whether you realize it or not. (grey market)

HD, this shouldn't be news to you. Buying on the internet has beaten buying retail for a long time, especially on big ticket/small box items.
XSi from Ritz - $962.99 with tax
XSi from Adorama - $909.45 shipped ground.. next day still beats Ritz @ $939.70
Sure, it's only $23 - but how many accessories will they sell you on? Buying online allows you to make a decision that's based more on your research and less on a sales pitch. You can sacrifice the $23 without losing sleep over it, but at least do yourself a favor - buy accessories from somewhere other than Ritz.

Get the true macro lens. I personally would rather have somethign with a bit more power, like 100mm so you dont have be on top of objects.

[OFFTOPIC; SORRY FOR STEALING THREAD]
Is BuyDig.com, The Internet's Digital Superstore (http://www.buydig.com) good? I might just end up getting the XTi since the XSi is a long wait.

BuyDig.com, a division of Beach Trading inc. an authorized Canon dealer.
that makes it rather trust worthy and not a grey market dealer, as far as good, I dont know. Hate on Ritz all you want, but when you want a new camera. You can go there and walk out with in a few minutes. And if anything goes wrong you dont have to deal with waiting on shipping just to send it back to the store.

Compare Prices, Store Reviews and Ratings by Real People (http://www.resellerratings.com/) <- Check there HD.
Buydig is the same company as Beach Camera. Their ratings seem good.
