how about we do away with "drifting tech" and make it into drifting for sale?
i dont see how a discussion involving the technical standpoint of drifting is any different from discussions about drifting in general. i just looked through that mini forum and saw nothing that shouldn't simply be posted in drifting.
drift for sale is a good idea, there are many drift specific items that could be posted in a forum of that nature, who else on TR is going to buy used tires? if a post about tires sales gets locked in drifting tech because its not drifting specific than why could a post like that fly in say, ford tech? tires are not brand specific, therefore they do not belong in that forum. so why do people post them? because they're within the same automotive community, i feel MUCH better buying parts from one of my peers compared to buying them from some dude i dont know. needless example: if i see ryanS13 post S13 coilovers for sale in drifting for sale but i see the same set for the same price in misc automotive for sale im going to buy them from ryan, im going to be more assured that im purchasing a quality item when i buy within my group.
this is a simple thing to solve, the real question is:
why would it be such a HUGE issue to make a drifting for sale? whos it going to hurt? no one. what will it do? it will, no doubt about it, improve Tamparacing and the drifting community whom frequents the drifting forum. plain and simple.
ALSO: i am still available to moderate the drifting forum, im not sure if im the absolute best person for the job but i know i would be more than fare. i know im a goof ball but i would like to see the forum come back to life, and no offense what so ever to REY, but he doesnt really trek through these parts much.
