I will be joining the forced induction club(just got my garrett t3 today) soon and had a couple of questions for you guys. 1. What (i.d.) hose are you running on your oil return line and where did you tap (if you did) your oil feed line? 2. what type of oil are you using? 3. If any of you have a coolent line running through your turbo where do you hook that up? Thanks a lot.
Here is a pic.

my cars factory turbo...so im not sure but i believe the oil line FEED line gets tapped into where the oil pressure sending unit is....oil return just have a line welded onto your oilpan..like i said...dont take my word for it...oh..and when you get the oil feed line....go to amazon hose to get it...

Yeah only 1 though. I got a good deal on the turbo and like building everything I do to make sure that it is done right. I have been reading maximum boost by Corky Bell and learned a lot from that. He suggested tapping it to your oil pan with a minimum (i.d.) of 1/2 hose.....I just wanted to see if an body else was doing the same thing.

DSMs drain to the oil pan from the factory. Just make sure you drain it above the level the oil pan is filled to.
