anyone use metro pcs?

since i'm the last guy on earth to not have a cell phone i may go get one. anyone use metro pcs? seems like a good deal, unlimited local/long distance for like $40/mo?

or can someone recomend a service?

I don't know how great the service is in Spring hill, you better check in to that. you can't beat the price for normal everyday calls and no goodies.

I have Metro PCS. It actually DOES work in MOST of Springhill. It's when you get out into the rural areas of SH that it starts getting skechy. Over by I-75 and hwy 50....no go. In downtown SH, it works.

i work by 75 and 50 :lol: guess i'll look into another carrier.

Yeah, I used to work in that strip mall with Winn Dixie in it. Definatly no signal there.

I have it john, it works well all over cept when you get out towards the interstate, soon as you are like 15 miles north of SR50 you have no more signal, but they are looking to extend to gainsville soon. I have the all unlimited package its $53 a month and you get unlimited everyting, their phones suck compared to all the other providers, nothing cool.

They just became affiliated with Walmart, I assume they'll probably start expanding their coverage areas soon.

I have it, It's worked from the keys to daytona, orlando lakeland tampa, never in hardee county (who wants to go there?) and only as far as avon park in highlands county (who wants to go there either)!!
I never drop calls, I've never had a problem with mine (1 1/2 years) and I no longer have the surprise 400 phone bill! I use mine constantly for work and personal. Even worked in parts of Georgia for me, just not out in the country.
