That is some crazy shit right there...

BTW, only a bad parent would buy their 18 year old kid a brand new 80K BMW with 500 horsepower.

I am not going to step out that far and say that.. but it probably wasn't the smartest decision they ever made... but I can't say that they are a bad parent without knowing the 18 yr old driving abilities...

Still a sad story no matter which way you look at it...

I doubt it was even his. More likely his dad let him drive it from time to time.

At least they choose to do this in an area where the only people at risk was themselves and not down freaking us 19 or 275. They died it happens best of luck to them on their next phase of existence.

thats shity. i wonder if they were racing someone. there wasnt any one who saw anything, so whats the chances of someone else being involved, getting scared then taking off.

Looks like the M5 Boards site is taking a major hit.. the database keeps going down, probably from the huge increase in traffic caused by the media links.

Seeing him post in a thread about legal high speed runs down an airstrip gives me chills. (Granted they were discussing doing so on an 11,000 ft runway). Wonder if reading that thread on runway high speed runs is what led them to the accident scene.

the airstrip is right in the middle of a private gated community. there were houses just a couple of hundred yards from where the car came to rest. one of these residents called 911 right after the accident happened.

and the m5 belonged to daddy.

Creepy.... the other thread the guys were telling him he'd be on the news if he wrecked big...very intuitive people over there.

80K car, a 20 dollar driver. I see it all the time.

I love the statement "it was unclear if any of the occupants wore seat belts"
