Nothing bad but the last few seem to have awkward composition and just seem to be thrown together, which also isn't horrible.

I disagree with being awkward. I think the last could've used a *little* more DOF, but that's a small nitpick. :bigthumb:

best one, by far. simple composition. good effect. a little bit of tweaking and i'd assume its a pro-stock photo. I think a wide angle might suit the shot well also..

You should read up on your equipment, there's too much to learn and I don't take the time to do this myself. But through experience and help with other people (preferably in person) it's easy to pick things up and put this new knowledge to test.

like on the one with the chain you mean make the rest clearer? i know how to do that with Apertures and things like that i just dont know the word for it... i didnt take my time or use a tripod on any of these and it was freezing out there so i was kinda rushing it lol.

Yes.

Depth of Field. Larger aperture (smaller f-number) means narrower DOF. Smaller aperture (larger f-number) means wider DOF. Wider and narrower referring to the distance from front to back, if that makes sense.

You don't necessarily need a tripod to change your depth of field. Kick your camera into aperture priority mode and try it out.

I think that you should learn through your own trials because other's opinion's aren't always the best direction. Not that I'm pointing anyone out.

Learn as much as you can from anywhere.
