all i know is i will never use anything besides royal purple, i tried other oils and my lifters tick like nuts until i put RP back in. cool to see how it actually performs.

i didn't see kendall gt1 or amsoil i use those or royal purple depending on where i am when i do an oil change and which i can get a deal on. i'd like to see how they stand up with those tests

I'll be running the cheap advance stuff for about 100 miles once the motor is back in the car, then switching over to Royal Purple or Mobil-1 after a flush.

Is that a new engine or used? If new i would not put RP in till 3K miles at the earliest. And Definitely not earlier then 1500.
