Sorry I missed it.
What is the story?
Who won?
Course?
Cold?
Wet?

We were all questioning where you were

The course was fun, a good mix of tight and open for both types of cars but in the end whp played a good part of putting down some good numbers. The turn around was a single cone and my car was like hold on i'm getting back up into power where Vivek's car was like power on let's go In fact Vivek came very close to having FTD for his class and maybe overall but I can't remember.

We basically had a teeth chattering day, the pavement was dry and finally warmed up to give us more grip in the afternoon.

I did get a good solid run in and then used the day to try to adjust my driving to see what I could do. While trying to do so my car and I decided to live up to the kone killer name and had a blast. I think on one run every station had to call one cone for me Though that may have been part of the morning session as well

Oh and I got to drive Kristan's Mini around the track ... weeeee! My right hand was like wait where did the stick go, oh its on the left.

Hope to see you in March or at an SCCA event.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Yea we missed you
The Wind out there was bad. IT didt get warm till 2 . If you could get out of the wind and in the Sun it was ok
We had about 20 something show.. So we all did 11 runs.

FTD was 46 sec.. most cars were 47 to 50 sec.
Since we were short on persons we only had 4 stations on the course. So we opened it up so it was really smooth..
2nd gear in Russ's car with the new engine and also 2nd to the redline on Kris's classic mini..

Course got alot faster after lunch when the cemet got above 45 deg.

Miata was FTD.. The Neon, BMW 318ti, M3 and Camero all were right behind him.

Alann and I needed to take the MINI to Deland for some non sticky concrete practice for the National events coming up in GA.

Sorry that we were not there - but we did you guys proud.
Alann took 2nd in GS class and 4th over all on PAX.
I had a good day taking 1st in GS and 1st overall in PAX - so it was a worthwhile trip for us. It was cold and got colder all day long over there.

Which 318ti won and with who driving?

Sounds like those that showed up had a great event!

Russ's 318ti made its first appearance this weekend and looks great.

But uh Barry pulled it's fastest track time out of it.

Congrats on the GS wins

Thanks to Tod for the loan of the Neon when the Fiero started to overheat. (I think they are famous for that.)
I had never autocrossed a FWD car, and that made for an interesting day.

Thanks to Chi Town for the FWD driving tips. I tried hard to catch her fastest time, but just couldn't do it. If I remember correctly, I think Vivek said she was faster than he was their last time out. What a brat

Thanks to BAM for modifying the course when we found ourselves faced with those cold and slippery conditions. I really enjoyed it.

There was quite a battle for FTD. Everyone seemed to be giving it all they had. Nice driving guys.

Looking at the results - that was some close competition.
Good job by all!

Glad to hear the race 318ti is back in competition.
