subaru service bulletin

has any one heard about the bulletin about the turbo oil filter needing to be cleaned or taken out? i read it off of the forced performance website. just wondering if any one has done this yet.

i heard about it some people take them out and get to much pressure to the turbo and another guy took his out and said it was clean so. ???

hmm aight just wondering. i guess its only needed for forced performance turbo's. thnx

i believe its for bigger turbos such as the green and red turbos from fp and there equivilents from other manufactures because they have bearings with larger oil passages that need more oil.

the filter gets either clogged or slows the flow of oil causing bearing failure.
