Here's another project that we are currently working on, some of you might know this car from back in the day. It is now at Driven Concepts and it will be making more power then it did. Here are some pictures, I will add more info later.

They were. This car ran, I believe low 10s with a significant amount of horse power. It will be nastier by the time we are done with it.

That is Duy's old car from Texas. It did run 10.4 when he built it a long time ago... but that was a lot of nitrous and headgaskets ago. Good luck with it.

Hi everyone...

My name is Bill. I have been on TR for a while, some of you know me from way back. The car is been a long time coming. A little about the car:

JE pistons 8.5:1
Crower Rods
ARP main, head, rod studs/bolts
New crank kits and main bearings
Bored .0400 over
720cc Inj. (upgrading to 1000cc's)
GT35R T4 ext.
Haltech E6k
Trust IC
6 puck unsprung clutch
6 point roll cage
Line Lock
300zx TT brakes
Coilovers w/ Koni's

I know I am forgetting a lot of things. The head is still undecided. I have Crower st. 2 cams 264's. I think I am going to purchase the Crower stage 3 272's and go with valve springs, retainers, etc

The Head gasket is stock and so are the head parts right now. At the time the idea was to have a stock HG so it would pop before the internals would (the old setup that ran 10.8@132mph and made 500rwhp+ was on a stock HG). After thinking about it I think I am going to upgrade the HG and internals.

I am at work right now, when I get off I will post some pics and videos....

AEM EMS would be nice. So would Haltech E11...but E6k will do just fine. There is a firmware that I am going to try to D/L that will allow me to switch maps. I think I can only run one tune with E6k.

How many people like the wing that is on the car??? I didn't like it at first, then it kind of grew on me. I will be picking up a stock SE wing and matching the paint.

Same goes with the front bumper does it look good???

I want to rock the stock front bumper and SE wing because I love the way a S14 looks from the factory. Opinions?

it looks fine now, but stock is always best. and dammit lower that thing when your done. I have a feeling the crx isnt gonna keep up when its finished :lol:

Yup the car ran some of its best times on stock suspension. It now has Koni shocks and Ground Control coilovers. I do agree it is high in the rear. I would like to put some Stance or Tein struts but then the launching performance will go down I think. The best 60' was a 1.51 :-0

Well I have to say I am very happy with the progress so far. I can't wait to see what it will look like with the BOV, Valve cover polished, turbo polished, koyo rad, and fuel rail with SS lines. :-)

Yes I am the owner. I didn't buy it from Duy though. Duy sold it to another guy in Texas. I got a good deal on it, but I must say it was a mess when I got it.

Nope^ He has a S14.5 and swapped it with a fully built 1400hp 2JZ-GTE and is running low 8's. This car ran 10 something from the last time i heard but forgot the timeslip. So after this one he bought another S14 then did the S15 front end convertion which is now a beast lol

Actually before he dropped a 2JZ in the S14.5 you're talking about he turboed the KA and made about 560rwhp+ on a PT67.

God its good to hear from you!!!

The car will make some good power but it still has a stock head with 264 cams and the turbo could be bigger, so this is just a start.

I plan on buying a stock head and building it on the side once I get the car running.
