Hey whats happenin? Im still waiting for one of the admins to get back with me about this issue of trolling. I checked my e-mail from my cell phone (my e-mail addy for the board) and Aaron mentioned something of me trolling on the board.
As I mentioned before on one of my posts that was so promptly deleted I have only one screen name on this forum I have not been trolling and I would appreciate this mistake being resolved. Its just not necessary. I read the bogus posts by Whoady and Parkingman69...but sorry admins as shaggy says it wasnt me. Please fix this so I can actually sit at my house computer and post on the board. Thanks.

Well your IP wouldnt have been banned if it didnt match the IP of parkingman. For public record: we didnt run the LadiesMan IP we just ran ParkingMans and banned his. Then a few people came forward and said they had heard you speaking of something like this before. So we ran both IPs they matched...and there you have it. We didnt even think of you in the beggining. Does ParkingMan live with you? And why was that lil logo on the TeamNismo server? http://www.tamparacing.com/ubb/biggrin.gif Whatever though. I dont really care. Aaron will take care of this when he gets home.

Hi Im new to this board. I havent met anyone yet (I dont think) but hope to in the near future. As far as the IP address some service providers will change your IP everytime you log on so it could be that ladies man and the person banned have the same ISP and ladies man got the same IP address that the banned person had previously.

Im not terribly educated as far as computers go but wouldnt ladies man have no problem getting on if his server changed the IP everytime he got online?
-becky http://www.tamparacing.com/ubb/smile.gif
Most ISPs have a minimum of a Class C address scheme for thier users. So there is no less of 254 available dynamic IPs.. Thats a pretty small chance of duplicate IP usuage. Most ISPs around Tampa have 5+ class Cs.

Some ISPs dont change it or it is a few days before they do. Mine changes every couple of days with RoadRunner. So its possible he will still have the same one that was banned for at least a couple of days if not more.

One word BUSTED!!!!!!http://www.tamparacing.com/ubb/eek.gifhttp://www.tamparacing.com/ubb/smilies/rocketwhore.gif
I dont even know why I am arguing this point.. LOL..
1) If it was a cable modem on DHCP then he would still have the same IP he had while he was trolling. Which means there is no problem. If it did change read the next line.
2) Yes if it is an ISP with 5 class Cs.. That means there is a 1 out 1274 chance or you could also say 0.07% chance it could be a mistake.
I am done with this.. This is stupid. I dont even know why I am arguing it. I can give more numbers and statistics if it helps.
People who do this are also the same people who will stab you in the back.

If it wasnt for the fact that the IP address matched and that these trolls were taking things from your website that you created there wouldnt be a problem. After looking at things myself I find it hard to believe that you were not involved.
Everyone makes mistakes and that is understood however when mistakes are made they should be approached head on. Maybe all would be forgotten if you would come forward with the issue. Not through the public forims but to Blood_Sun directly.

Hey whats happenin? To clear the confusion and make this easy to understand:
1. I made a graphic this graphic:
http://teamnismo.addr.com/tp.gif
This graphic was added to my signature early Sunday.
2. When Acme called me that afternoon he told me of certain trolling posts. I read the posts and the people posting were using the same pic i had made and put it in their sig.
3. I am on GTE DSL. My IP never changes. What I DID notice is that my signature tests in the custom avatars post had been deleted. Those werent trolling posts guys...i was testing my sig.
4. After seeing the posts made by the trolls (Parkingman69 Whodey and others) I removed the graphic from my sig as it is obviously causing problems.
To whoever put Ladies Mans IP back on thanks. I would like a PM to know what the heck happened. Im not a troll I dont like trolls. Im tired of fighting and defending myself. None the less Ill use my better judgement when being creative next time.
...and King-Cobra...you can kiss my cracka ass...fool.

Anyway both my dad and I have Roadrunner and the IP stays static. I have had the same one for 6 months.

Why dont I believe you?? hmmm? are you checking it that often?
Its called Start/Run/command or CMD/ then either winipcfg click release and then renew OR ipconfig /release then ipconfig /renew. It depends on your operating system.

Most DHCP servers have a config setting that will determine how long you will keep an IP address so if it is set to 6 months than you can release and renew all you want and it will stay the same but then again it all has to do with the server config and platform

Same thing here. Thats exactly what I have done and gone through. Fortunately TW is receptive to IP change requests.

DHCP servers save your MAC address of the network card you are using... Even if your IP address has been released by the DHCP server you will still claim it again if no one else has. DHCP servers will do everything in thier power to return the same address to you. They save those MAC IDs http://www.tamparacing.com/ubb/smile.gif Thats why if you swap network cards on your computer your IP will always change. Becuase the new network card has a different MAC.
