not mdf thick(guessing 3/4) 6 layer plywood nicely sanded down. i was thinking to stain and seal it to do something different or just carpet it.....but as of now i dont have the extra money and it looks fine the way it is to me.

dude i have 2 amps ill trade you for them subs 1 is a kenwood 2chn 200watt and the other is an alpine 2chn 400way both work perfect i just want subs ihave everything else but boom let me know... if need be you can keep box...
