Idk what retail is but I know they can be had for $80-$100 which is def worth it.

I think there decent. I used to have 3 10's in my mustang a while back and they sounded damn good.

I have a little crx so I only have 1 12" which is more than sufficient for my car, at least to me. I'm only pushing it with a 400 watt Alpine amp, which sounds good to me. I also have the alpine type-r door speakers, being pushed by another 400 watt alpine amp.
