Default need some help..

can you tell the difference?

first photo taken from the driver side and the second one from the passenger side, i hit a curb last nite (backing up from the parking lot, i dont even know how that happened cuz i was so slow) and it seems like i bent the driver side inner tire rod ,steering wheel is not centered and lotta tire noise what should i do ? how much would that thing cost to me you think? should i take it to the dealership or buy the part and have it installed else where? any opinions?

thanks

dude, that shouldnt ever happen. wow, in my friends stock sti, we hit a dip in the road that said "slow 5mph" yet we hit it at 50, got air, and drove off. no damage. call mastro and talk to manny about it or something. that should be a warrentied part i hope. i havent seen one like that yet. i wouldnt drive the car with the noise and all

ditto, I wouldnt drive that. That's bent badly. The part is easy to replace but if you can get it done for free, why not.

Yes you can do it yourself. It looks like you only need the outer tie rod. Once you have the part it only takes about 30 minutes. After you're done you should take it down and have it aligned. They'll be able to verify nothing else has been bent/damaged.

It would help if you had a FORK. It slips between the the tie-rod and the knuckle. They can be a pain to separate without it. Other than that, no special tools.

Where are you located? I could help if you're close.
