I have an old school Orion amp I havent used in a while. I would like to get it "bench checked". Anyone know a place around Tampa ~ Wesley Chapel I can take it to that knows these amps? Thanks in advance.

any stereo shop will bench test for a price... and pretty much any member in ahq can bench check if they are bored.

You want to have it bench checked to see if it works or to find out the actual power output on it?

I'm nearly positive the Speaker Exchange on Hills. Ave does this.

checking to see if it powers up is as simple as using a known good +12 power source and ground and bridging the +12 to the remote on terminal.

If it powers up it works. If it doesn't its broke.

^^^ Yes, I have done that. There is no doubt something is wrong. I just need a place that can fix it. :nerd:

~ Thanks Skittle I will give them a buzz.
