Well, I almost made it. The wife dragged my old ass out Christmas shopping early. I managed to push her through most of the stores at a pretty good clip so we drove by on the way home from Tampa. There were just a couple of guys milling around and the door was closed so she wanted to go hit up another store and then come back. I said OK. That was my downfall. Needless to say the shopping got out of hand at about the same time the BBQ did and I never made it back. Total outlay for all day Christmas shopping was about $2500 and the only thing I see in the pile that is remotely usable is a new floor jack for me. That ended up in there because she wants me to do her brakes and my old jack is dead. Ah well, I have an entire year to exact payment from her.
