Kickers can sound just fine in the right box.

So how much you lookin to spend? How much airspace? How much power? How deep is the mounting depth?

Need more details. What ohm load can the amp handle. What is the dimmends on the box, need to know max mounting depth and airspace (cubic feet)

Will be pure luck if you do not figure this out first.

We sell the kicker cvt 12's for 169.00 a piece, again they are not bad if you want loud bass, but kickers aren't exactly noted for hitting decent notes. you can also do the pioneer flat subs as well. And if you can wait for it the new jl flat's are coming out soon...Kai

Are you crazy? Sony Explodes are the best speakers out, if you think you know all the good speakers out then why are you asking what sub to buy?

Pair of Fi SSd 10s would be nice... or some Sundown SD-1s... both are on blow-out sales.

Are you serious? The new Xplod subs have the lowest xmax rating for any sub in their price range.

The midrange speakers have never been worth their retail price tag either. Maybe if you got them for free, or for like $35 they would be worth it.

The Xplods I had in my car that belonged to my friend werent bad for some bump. Yeah, they sounded like complete ass in a box I designed for a Civic trunk, but those 2 12s with holes punched through the cones got me over a 140 on the TL below 40hz.

Id say check out the Kicker CVTs. Will work great unless you're a SQ buff, which I doubt.

Still happened. If I had more than ~200-250rms to each and a box designed for the car, I dont see why I couldnt have done a 143-144 with that equipment. :nerd:

I seriously think Sony makes the best speaker out.....

On Wal-Mart's shelves.

SONY FTW.

Really-Check into AudioPipe's Eye Candy Series..I don't know how "deep" your box is though...You can pick them up for around $100..1600PEAK/800RMS...I'm running 4 12's,and it slams.

The best subs out there.... You will be driving down the road after work. You will see a ragged van parked on the side of the street. There will be ab old man that lives in the van. He will sell you some 12" 100,000,000,000 watt Legacy subwoofers for $600 a piece, which can be haggled down to about $50 a piece when the seller realizes that you aren't that dumb. Then he will have a $500 amp that is 5,000,000,000 watts. You will also get a cool speaker box made of see through plastic with port holes that are too small to use as drink holders, but say "Competition". Now THAT is where to go to get some subs.
