Hey guys-

Not done with the car yet...everything is together just tracing out wiring problems. However, I'm already looking ahead to the next step.

The mesh wheels I got I like because they fit the car well and they're rare. However, at 14x5.5 it's going to be hard to put down the power I'm expecting. If I could find another full set, are you up to chopping these up and widening them? I was thinking use the fronts of my polished set and the rear ends of the donor set to come up with whatever width I want. I've already got them spaced to where 14x8 should fit nicely.

Should be an interesting project and from what I've seen, you guys appreciate challenges. Bonus points for figuring out a way to add the width to the FRONT of the wheel :)

Let me know! (And I'll post updated pics of my engine bay soon)

And a pic for those who have no idea what I'm referring to:

I'm guessing this is a no-go so moving on....

How much you guys charge for coilover install? I got coils for my Rabbit and to be honest....I don't have enough enthusiasm in me to work on both cars simultaneously. I was also considering doing a custom catback. If you can give me some ballpark figures that'd be great. Then I can call you during the week and try to lock in some numbers.

TIA,
Austin

I will make sure Mike gets with you about the exhaust. I will price you out the coilover install asap.

Thanks,

Ian

Thanks!

I'm also sending you a little business from a buddy of mine. He's got an 07 SI that needs an exhaust installed (already purchased). I apologize I don't know what type, but I told him it'd be probably an hour to install it...two if you run into problems. I'm going to have him call you during the week to set up an appt

No problem. I understand it's the holidays and everyone is all over....just trying to get an idea of what it'll all cost so I can put the funds aside
