I got to play with a new Lotus on I-4 on the way home yesterday. I dont think he liked a 88 LX blasting his ass. He tried me twice and both times I pulled two cars on him, from 80-125+. Thank god TROOPER DEATH wasnt shooting radar. That would have been expensive and probably involve bail. I normally dont play like that, but hey, he started it. I just couldn't let it go with out seeing what it would do. Shure was sweet. We got off at the same exit and he wouldn't even look at me. It was a bad ass car though! Red, big meats and about 3 feet tall. :D :D :D

Right now a H/C/I set up for a Novi 2000 I have on the bench. Cartech upper, ported and welded truck lower, 75mm TB, C&L 76mm elbow and a C&L 80mm MAF, New GT-40P heads from Tri-State Cyl Heads, (1.94 I &1.54E) gasket matched and cleaned up by me. New lifters, 1.6 RR, timing chain. Comp Cams XE264HR, Ford headers to fit the heads, UPR offroad X pipe and a Dyno Max Stainless steel cat back kit. I got the car a few years ago from my dad, who bought it new. It had 52K on it and was completely orginal, great maintance, but totally stock. Original wires, rotor and cap and plugs were still on it. It got 26mpg on the drive down fom SC. I took the engine out last winter and wound up going thru the whole car. Completely new suspension, built rear end w 3.73 gears, all new exhaust system, fuel system, brakes, cooling, disassembled and painted it. Basically just got carried away. I have 18 in Saleen chrome rims and a Cobra/Bullit brake system to go on next. Then the blower. I like to drive it ALOT and I know 42lb injectors + boost + my right foot will need the rubber and brakes. I got rid of the 96 Saleen and we just got the wife a new white GT/CS vert. Man that thing is sweet. The first time we test dove it, she gets out and says, It needs a shifter, it's too quite and how much horsepower will a supercharger give it! I love that girl.

What did you do with the upper that came with that lower? I have that other pulley you need and the oil line. I am a little far from home now......
When I get back I will take you out in the white car. It needs a new converter but seems to run ok. It only put 517 at the wheels w/the AOD but ran a 10.38/135
