Hey guys, well I didn't end up getting a DSLR because money is short and POS Hondas always need work hence why I ended up with a Canon PowerShot SX100 IS, along with a two gig memory and a tripod, after I have my car up to shape I'm planning to save for a Canon DSLR.
Here are some recent pictures, I'm still playing with the focus and learning how to take better night shots, comments and advice are appreciated.
:)

on the first bunch, i would set the camera settings on manual so you can adjust the shot so you can tone down the brightness some, that or edit them in photoshop by selecting adjust then brightness/contrast and push the contrast a little up and brightness a little down. in most causes it makes the image look better.

Thanks guys, EroticA thanks, I did have some shots in manual shot, but for that shoot I just had the camera for like three days and I was still getting used to it and what not and I was wanting to post the pictures so bad in our Prelude forum when I took them, I just put borders on them and forgot to do the brightness/contrast. Thanks though :)

I have a Powershot S3IS which is in the same family and love it. Nice shots. Does yours have the 'SCN' mode on the selector? You can do alot of neat stuff in that mode if you do. Read the manual, I did 2weeks after getting the camera.... thinking I knew everything about it already.... YEAH RIGHT lol.

I have to look at it I don't really know, I have to look at it for the SCN mode, but I plan to read the manual eventually I went over the basics the morning I got it :)
